Welcome to Redeeming Orphans! On a personal note, I would like to introduce the RO team (my wife and I), and let you know what you can expect from our site. My name is Rocky and my wife is Suzanne. We live in Louisville, KY where I attend seminary and work in cellular sales until I graduate, at which point I hope to join a church’s pastoral team. Suz is a stay-at-home mom (formerly a teacher), taking care of our 2 boys, Brady and Bryson. Brady was born in January of 2009, and we brought home Bryson from Ethiopia in May of the same year.

Our hope is that RO will be a bit of a “one-stop shop” for adoption and orphan care information aimed at Christians. There will be some original articles written by my wife and I, as well as a whole lot of material linked to from other sites around the web that we find helpful, informative, and encouraging. Articles will handle a range of issues; from discussing biblical passages, to helping with the practicalities of the adoption paperwork, to taking a look at transracial adoption, to keeping you up-to-date on what’s going on in different countries with orphan care. Our desire is to be a gospel-centered orphan care website, and we pray that it results in many ex-orphans.
